The Meland Foundation 2017 recipient of the Nursing Scholarship: Monique Warren, RN BSN
Our recipient inspires us all when she writes in her application:
“Day in and day out I see people at their worst. People are stressed, hurt and afraid. I love being able to give them strength, hope and compassion as a future nurse practitioner. This relationship works both ways though. Patients and their loved ones have taught me so much. There are limited words to describe the reward that I feel in doing what nurse practitioners do.”
